Portable Darkroom for Film Loading

The Adorama 94LCB changing bag measures 27 by 30 inches and acts as a portable darkroom for loading film tanks, bulk loaders and sheet film holders. It is also useful when removing a broken roll of film from a camera. The bag is constructed from black nylon with a double-bag design and double zippers that create an absolutely light-tight seal. Elastic wrist bands keep the openings secure around your arms during use.

Light-Tight Operation Constraints

Complete darkness is maintained only while both zippered layers remain closed and the elastic wrist bands are properly seated around your wrists. Any gap at the cuffs or a partially open zipper will admit light and fog light-sensitive material. The bag has no viewing window or internal illumination, so all manipulations must be performed by touch alone. It provides no temperature control for chemicals or film during extended sessions.

Capacity and Handling Limits

The 94-litre internal volume accommodates multiple developing tanks, a bulk loader and spare film boxes simultaneously. Large-format sheet film holders up to the bag's 27 by 30 inch footprint fit comfortably, but oversized tanks or motorised winders may not. The soft-sided construction offers no rigid support, so heavy loaded tanks can shift during agitation unless braced against your body.
