Loop n Strap Caution Tag

This pack contains 25 plastic Loop n Strap Caution Tags from Accuform. Each rectangular tag measures 5.25 by 3.25 inches and carries a general safety message. The header reads "Caution" on a black background while the legend states "Unsafe Do Not Use". Legends differ on each side of the single-part tag.

Durable plastic construction

The plastic material resists moisture, grease and everyday handling in HVAC environments. Tags remain legible after repeated attachment and removal from radiators, boilers and pipework. The loop-and-strap fastening survives vibration and temperature cycling without tearing. A pack of 25 supports ongoing maintenance programmes across multiple job sites.

Physical attachment limits

The loop-and-strap design requires a protruding handle, valve stem or pipe section to secure the tag. Smooth surfaces without a through-point cannot accept the fastener. The 5.25 by 3.25 inch face needs clear line of sight for the legend to be read at a glance. Obstructions or tight clearances may hide the warning text.

Questions about this item

Will the plastic tags become brittle or emit odours when mounted near a hot boiler all day?

The tags are made of plastic and carry a Caution header with a black background; they are not rated for continuous high-temperature exposure near a boiler.

What fasteners or tools do I need to attach the 5.25 x 3.25 in tags to pipework?

Each tag uses a built-in loop-and-strap design so it can be secured by hand without separate ties, screws or tools.

Can I use these TAL314 tags on older steel radiators that have rough or painted surfaces?

The flexible strap wraps around irregular or painted pipework and the rectangular 5.25 x 3.25 in tag stays legible on both sides.
