Airflow Deflector for M-100 Series Faceshields

The 3M M-116 Airflow Deflector attaches to M-100 series faceshields to redirect incoming air. It is designed for workers who need consistent airflow across the visor while maintaining shield integrity. The blue component integrates with existing headgear without requiring tool changes.

M-Series Compatibility and Visor Clarity

This deflector fits only M-100 series faceshields, so owners of other 3M shield lines cannot use it. By channelling air over the inner surface it reduces fogging during extended wear. No additional mounting hardware or software is included in the package.

Questions about this item

Does the M-116 deflector need periodic replacement?

The M-116 is a passive plastic deflector with no moving parts or filters; replace it only if it cracks, warps or becomes heavily scratched.

What limits continuous wear of the M-116?

Heat distortion or impact damage to the blue deflector body will degrade airflow deflection before any other factor.
