Book repair tape for libraries and archives

This 3M 845-VP tape is designed for repairing, reinforcing and protecting bound edges and surfaces. It suits librarians, archivists and collectors working on books, magazines, pamphlets and record album jackets. The clear, conformable material blends with original covers without obscuring text or graphics.

Eight 15-yard rolls on 3-inch cores

The multi-pack supplies eight rolls, each 15 yards long on a standard 3-inch core. This volume supports ongoing conservation projects and high-use repair stations. The conformable backing wraps around curved spines and corners, though very thick boards or heavily coated covers may need a heavier adhesive.

Crystal-clear finish for invisible mends

The tape dries to a crystal-clear state that keeps repaired areas readable and visually unobtrusive. This optical clarity is the deciding factor when appearance matters as much as strength.
