Removable adhesive picture-hanging strips

These 3M strips use Command adhesive to hold pictures and frames on walls without nails. Each strip interlocks with its mate and can be separated for repositioning. Removal leaves no residue or surface damage. The pack contains three sets.

Renters and temporary displays

Ideal for tenants who cannot drill holes and for anyone who changes wall art frequently. Not suited for objects heavier than the stated limit or for rough, textured surfaces where the adhesive cannot bond fully.

Three-pound holding capacity per set

Each set supports up to three pounds, which determines whether the strips can carry a specific frame or decoration. Heavier items will require a different mounting method.

Questions about this item

Do the 172014 strips lose grip after I take the frame down and put it back up?

The interlocking fasteners are designed to separate and reattach repeatedly, and the Command adhesive remains effective through multiple cycles.

What fails first when a frame hangs near the 3-pound limit for weeks?

The adhesive bond is rated for up to 3 pounds per set; sustained loads at that level will test the adhesive before the fastener itself gives way.

Will the 172014 strips leave marks or peel paint if I leave them on the wall all summer?

They are engineered to remove cleanly without surface damage, even after extended periods, leaving no residue or paint damage behind.
